Celebrants celebrate! The world over, Celebrancy is a vocation that is truly about celebrating. A Celebrant is a person who writes and officiates ceremonies whether they be secular or religious. Celebrancy is all about honoring or memorializing those milestones in our and our loved one’s lives.
I am an Independent Heart-led Celebrant specializing in Funerals and Memorial Services in Oklahoma. Heart-led is a school of training based in Cumbria, England, through which Celebrants are trained to fully understand ceremonies and the power of symbolism. We take our sacred studies very seriously to understand and serve within many of different faiths and traditions. Let me help you co-create an event that is sure to honor you and your loved ones.

MY HIGHEST PRIORITY
We’ve all experienced that moment at a funeral where we felt as if the person officiating was more interested in advertising their chosen place of worship or imposing their beliefs than actually talking about the deceased. It’s upsetting to hear names mispronounced and very little shared about the loved one. Where are the stories of the person’s life, the kindnesses they did for others, whose life was touched by this person and how? A life is SO much more than a resume of dates and honors, awards and degrees. I want to know more about the person’s loves, their hobbies, what they did that made people love them and how they enjoyed spending their time.
